The ob<x>jectives of this course are to introduce materials for energy storage applications through supercapacitors and various batteries to students. This course will be helpful to students to understand the concepts of energy storage. The course would also teach students essential techniques and technology of batteries/supercapacitors materials. Learning Outcome: On completion of this course, the students will be able to: ● Understand the basic principles of electrochemical energy storage devices ● Understand the factors affecting electrochemical energy storage devices performance. ● Understand the principles, operation, and prospects of rechargeable battery technology.
